Last leg of the crossing of the North Atlantic Ocean

The 27th of May Draken headed out for her last leg on the crossing of the North Atlantic. Leaving Greenland facing the challenges of ice, waves, weathers, wind, fog and the freezing cold air of the Labrador sea.

Draken and her crew made the stretch in 6 days, navigating around the icebergs. Most of the crew members refers to this leg as the toughest on the crossing.

The Vikings were accomplished navigators, artisans, traders and story tellers, but their greatest triumph was the ship they built.
